(For) Beautiful Souls
Oil painting on canvas (2025)
70x100 cm
The painting was created as a commission for the Bratislava Volunteering Center (Bratislavské dobrovoľnícke centrum) to embody and express the spirit of Slovak volunteers.
To serve with open hands and honest intentions is something profoundly beautiful. That’s why I wanted this painting to feel beautiful. I did my best to bring a piece of heavenly sensation to it, something viewer could feel when looking at it.
At the heart of the painting stands a woman. There are several reasons for this choice. We often associate women with beauty, but also with nurturing, love, care, motherhood, and devotion — all qualities that embody the spirit of volunteering.
The bird resting on the young woman’s hand is a sparrow, symbolizing Slovak volunteers. Sparrows are small, often unnoticed, yet deeply social creatures that thrive in cooperation. They are caring, resilient, and adaptable.
Finally, the crown of daisies — simple, pure, joyful meadow flowers typical of Slovakia — represents purity, innocence, simplicity, and happiness.
Together, these symbols come together to form a portrait of Slovak volunteering.

The Flirt
Oil painting on canvas (2024)
90x135 cm
Exhibited – Art on Loop, Seoul, South Korea (by The Holy Art Gallery based in London)
The painting Flirt is a multi-faceted, surreal depiction of flirting as a human behavior.
Flirting is light, bright, innocent, yet very real, deep, almost raw. It is an expression of our energy, which we should be in a healthy relationship with. Denying this power causes stagnation and aversion to life. How often do we think of life as something we can flirt with? We can – and it is empowering.

Too Sweet Too
Oil painting on canvas (2024)
60x90 cm
Exhibited – Art on Edge ART SHOW, London, UK (by The Holy Art Gallery, based in London)
Self-esteem instead of toxic sweetness. "Too Sweet Too" is a complementary painting to "The Sweet, Sweet Girl". Both paintings are a call for inner liberation from the expectations of society but also from unreasonable demands on oneself.

The Sweet, Sweet Girl
Oil painting on canvas (2024)
60x90 cm
Exhibited – Colori di autunno, Florence, Italy (by Galleria d’Arte Mentana (Florence) together with Galleria Castelli (Rome))
A sweet girl is a character who, like “The Good Girl”, wants to do everything right. To be kind and to be perceived as good. But kindness without limits, kindness without reason, blind kindness, kindness that comes from underestimating or overlooking oneself can only bite the person back. "Kindness" can be poisonous. It must be handled correctly so that it is beautiful and genuine.

The Good, Good Girl
Oil painting on canvas (2024)
60x90 cm
Exhibited – Colori di autunno, Florence, Italy (by Galleria d’Arte Mentana (Florence) together with Galleria Castelli (Rome))
"The Good, Good Girl" is a story of a girl who wanted to do everything right her whole life.
The painting talks about the invisible social indoctrination of women and its consequences. The idea is based on personal experiences and observations of a society that shapes women from a young age. The goodness though, should come from freedom and love, not conforming to social expectations. I focus on exploring the impact of social norms on women and I try to find a path to inner peace and liberation.

“I always thought that for art to be great, it had to be honest. But I am increasingly realizing that honesty is art.” (Author).
The painting Honesty is a sigh over the 21st century, but also a beautiful realization about how purifying is to be honest.

Enchanted
Oil painting on canvas (2023)
120x120 cm
Winner – Finalist Award in 10th Open International Juried Art Competition (by Teravarna Art Gallery)
The painting 'Enchanted' explores love as a universe. It compares it to a dance during which our souls blossom. When love flows, the steps are unplanned, but right, spontaneous and beautiful. But when it doesn't, the steps are just a calculated charade.

The Flirt
Oil painting on canvas (2024)

The painting Flirt is a multi-faceted, surreal depiction of flirting as a human behavior.
Flirting is light, bright, innocent, yet very real, deep, almost raw. It is an expression of our energy, which we should be in a healthy relationship with. Denying this power causes stagnation and aversion to life. How often do we think of life as something we can flirt with? We can – and it is empowering.

Exhibited – Art Bias III, Budapest, Hungary (by Golden Duck Gallery based in Hungary, in cooperation with Teravarna Art Gallery based in LA, USA)
